Rare sterling silver handled nutcrackers. They are hallmarked with the German state symbols and the 800 silver standard mark, the cracking sections are steel. I would date them by their Art Deco style to c1920. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, a tiny mark on the steel section. They have been engraved EG. They measure 7.5 inches (19.4cms) long and weigh 188 grams. Super quality very unusual examples.
