A beautiful English solid sterling silver wine goblet / chalice. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 2002 with the maker’s marks being JD&S for James Dixon & Sons Ltd. It has a beautifully hand made with the cup being planished and the stem and base being cast in a naturalistic tree trunk design. It holds 120ml. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.6cms) tall by 2.5 inches (6cms) across the cup by 2 inches (5cms) across the base and weighs an impressive 196 grams. A beautifully made top quality piece.
