A super quality Victorian English antique solid sterling silver swing handled bowl. It is hallmarked for London 1898 with the maker being Robert James Chaplin & Sons. It has superbly designed having a Gothic style with swing handle. It is in superb condition being free from dings, splits, engravings, and repairs. It measures approx. 6 inches (15cm) tall to the top of the handle and 4 inches (10cm) to the top of the rim by 3.75 inches (9cm) across the rim by 2.5 inches (6cm) across the base and it weighs 160 grams. A very good quality well made clean piece.
