A stunning Italian solid silver strawberry bowl. It is hallmarked with the Italian silver marks used from 1968 along with the makers mark of Romeo Miracoli, a very highly regarded firm producing top end pieces. I would date it to c1970's - 1980's. It has been beautifully designed being embossed around the edges with strawberries. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, clean and lightly gilded inside. It measures approx. 5.75 inches (14.7cm) across the rim by over 1.75 inches (4.8cm) tall and weighs 172 grams. A very pretty piece.
