A stunning heavy very stylish solid sterling silver table box or tea caddy. It is hallmarked 925 and the makers mark of Ravissant, a high quality Indian firm specialising in hand made pieces. I would date it to c1980-2000. It has a beautiful contemporary design and is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, just light polishing lines. It measures approx. 3.75 inches (9.8cm) across the lid square by 2.5 inches (6.4cm) across the base square by 3.5 inches (8.8cm) tall and weighs an impressive 350 grams. A very well made beautiful piece.
