A rare sterling silver and enamel match book vesta case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1927 with the makers mark being RP. It has been superbly designed being internally gilded with the exterior being decorated with an enamel flag which looks to be that of Iceland. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The enamel is perfect. It works perfectly. It measures a touch under 2.5 inches (6.2cms) by 1.75 inches (4.5cms) and weighs 32 grams. A very high quality rare example.
