A rare and unusual English solid sterling silver combination napkin ring and place card / menu holder. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1921 with the makers marks being that of William Base & Sons. It has been beautifully designed being nicely engine turned with a vacant cartouche. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 1.75 inches (5cm) across by 1.5 inches (3.9cm) tall by 1.25 inches (3.1cm) wide and weighs 34 grams. A very unusual piece.
