A quality English solid sterling silver thimble. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1989 with the makers mark being that of Simon J Beer. It has been superbly designed and has been engraved with a goat crest used by the Ellis family. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 1 inch (2.3cm) tall by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) across the base and weighs 8 grams. A very beautiful example.
