A superb Egyptian solid silver pepper pot. It is hallmarked with the Egyptian Alexandria assay marks and tests as high grade silver. I would date it c1920s. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a chick. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2 inches (5.2cm) long beak to tail by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide by over 1.5 inches (4cm) tall and weighs 64 grams. A very high quality unusual piece.
