A very pretty solid silver pepper pot. It is hallmarked with Egyptian marks, I would date it to c1940. It has been superbly designed being in the form of a chick. It has been superbly designed and is in superb condition being free from dings, splits and repairs. It measures over 1.5 inches (3.8cm) beak to tail by 1.5 inches (3.5cms) tall and weighs 20 grams. A well made unusual piece.
