Superb English antique solid sterling silver sugar tongs. They are hallmarked for London1876 with the makers marks being HL over HL. They have been superbly designed to what is termed the Fiddle and Thread Pattern and interestingly engraved with an Ostrich crest used by the Digby Family. They are in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They measure approx. 6 inches (15.3cms) long and weigh 60 grams. Beautifully made unusual examples.
