A rare hand made English solid sterling silver tea strainer. It has been hallmarked for London 1977 with the makers marks being that The Chelmsford Institute for Higher Education in Essex. It has been superbly made being hand plannished and pierced with a polished ebony handle. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 6.75 inches (16.8cms) long by 2.25 inches (6cms) wide and weighs 54 grams. A very well made rare piece.
