A very nice quality interesting English antique solid sterling silver desk tray. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1926 with the makers mark being rubbed. It has been superbly made being engraved 'GENERAL STRIKE MAY 1926 To MR C.F. Kerven WITH THE GRATEFUL THANKS OF THE GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY Co'. It is also engraved with City of London Coat of Arms and Bristol Coat of Arms. It is in super condition being free from splits holes repairs and dings. It measures approx. 5.25 inches (13.3cm) long by 3.5 inches (9cm) wide and weighs 124 grams. A quality piece.
