A very pretty German Hanau solid sterling silver pill or trinket box. It is hallmarked with German Hanau marks along with the 800 silver standard mark. It has been superbly made being embossed to the lid with an 18th century scene. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 2 inches (5.3cm) across by 1.5 inches (4cms) by 1.3cms tall and weighs 32 grams. A very pretty piece.
