A beautiful Hanau (Germany) solid sterling silver peppermint box. It is hallmarked with German Hanau marks along with the English Import marks for London 1896 with the importer being David Bridge. It has been beautifully designed with 18th century scenes. The inside has been gilded. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. The inside is clean and the hinge is strong. It measures approx. 1.25 inches (3cm) tall by the same across and weighs 22 grams. A beautiful piece.
