SUPER FRENCH SWISS STERLING SILVER EROS CHERUB SNUFF BOX ANTIQUE c1900 HEAVY 73g

A beautiful good sized solid silver snuff box. It is hallmarked with what I think are Swiss or possibly French hallmarks and dates to c1900. It has been superbly made being of circle form and the lid depicting a cherub, most likely Eros the Greek god of Love. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded and the lid closes tightly. It measures approx. 2.5 inches (6cms) across by 1.25 inches (2.8cms) tall and weighs 73 grams. A very pretty high quality piece.
