A super quality cased English solid sterling silver pickle fork. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1973 with the maker’s marks being that of Francis Howard Ltd. It has been superbly made being a replica of the Manners Fork of 1632, the earliest English hallmarked fork. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, the box its also great. It measures approx. 7 inches (17.8cm) long by almost 0.5 inch (1cm) wide and weighs 42 grams excluding the case. A very well designed mint piece.
