A superb rare English solid sterling silver potpourri bowl. It is hallmarked for London 2000 with the makers marks being that of Maxwell, Aylwin & Co. It has been beautifully made from cranberry glass with a sterling silver cast dragon top. It is is superb condition with the silver being is free from splits repairs and dings. The glass is free from cracks chips and repairs. It measures approx. 4 inches (10cm) tall by 4 inches (10cm) across at its widest point and weighs 330 grams. A superb rare piece.
