A nice quality English solid sterling silver box. It is hallmarked with London import marks for 1978 along with importers mark being that of Franklin Mint. It is in superb condition being free from dings, splits and repairs. The lid is lose fitting so most likely for trinkets / pills on a desk rather than in a bag. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.4cm) across by 1.5 inches (3.7cm) wide by 0.75 inches (1.8cm) tall and weighs 24 grams. A very good quality well made piece.
