A rare English late Georgian early Victorian antique solid sterling silver magnifying glass. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. I would date it to c1800-1850. It has been nicely designed and magnifies well. It is in super condition being free from dings splits chips cracks distortions and repairs, the lens moves fractionally but is secure. It measures approx. 3 inches (7.7cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.3cms) and weighs 18 grams. A very interesting piece.
