A very nice quality English solid sterling silver souvenir thimble. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1977 with the maker being James Swann & Son. It has been nicely designed being made as a souvenir form Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, still in its case. It measures over 1 inch (3cm) tall by 0.75 inch (1.9cm) across the base and weighs an impressive 16 grams (excluding the case). A very nice example.
