A beautiful German Hanau solid sterling silver box. It is hallmarked with Hanau marks along with the English import makers for London 1891 and the importer being Samuel Boyce (or Boaz) Landeck.  It has been beautifully made being in the form of a picnic basket decorated with cherubs. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean. It measures approx. 2.5 inches (6.4cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.4cm) wide by over 2.5 inches (6.6cm) tall to the top of the handle and weighs 56 grams. A very high quality example.
