A beautiful English solid sterling silver mug or cup. It is hallmarked for London 1990 with the maker being William Comyns & Sons. It is been superbly designed being a copy of a Charles II style mug of c1660. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, just a couple of faint marks, it is vibrantly gilded inside. It measures over 2.5 inches (6.6cm) tall to the top of the handle by 3.75 inches (9.5cm) across including the handle and 2.75 inches (7cm) excluding it and weighs 106 grams. A superbly designed piece.
