It has been beautifully handmade being planished and engraved with three horse shoes - this crest is used by Fountains Abbey or it could possibly relate to the Coat of Arms of the Worshipful Company of Farriers. It is in very nice condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures approx. 3.25 inches (8.4cm) across and weighs 30 grams. A beautifully designed interesting piece.
