A beautiful rare Indian silver walking cane or umbrella/parasol handle. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver and dates to c1890-1910. It has been beautifully made being decorated with scrolls and has a vacant cartouche. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 4.5 inches (11.4cm) long by over 3 inches (8cm) across and the opening for the cane measures approx. 0.5 inch (1.4cm) and weighs 58 grams. A very interesting and stunning piece.
